Social Anthropology and Fulɓe (Fulani) Society in West and Central Africa: Doctoral Studies
A number of doctoral study positions (PhD) on the Dynamics in Fulɓe (Fulani) Society in West and Central Africa are offered in Professor Schareika’s team and research projects.
Some selected topics in currently planned projects are:
- Pastoralists (Fulɓe, Mbororo’en) and the Anglophone Crisis in Cameroon
- Pastoralists (Fulɓe, Mbororo’en) between societal participation, flight and displacement in West and Central Africa (Niger, Nigeria, Cameroon, Chad)
- From pastoralism and family herds towards ranching, land ownership and capitalism in Cameroon’s Fulɓe (Mbororo’en) society
- Pastoralists and the migration crisis in Niger
